• Travel schedule/itinerary

  Day 1 - Overnight in Oslo Individual arrival to Oslo. Check in at the centrally located, elegant Bristol hotel or similar. You can take the Airport bus directly to the hotel from the Oslo Gardermoen airport.   Start date in Oslo with sailing on the following ship: Dec 21: MS Nordlys   Some sights in Oslo: The Vigeland sculpture Park, the Oslo Opera House, the Viking Ship Museum, Edvard Munch Museum, The National Gallery, The Astrup Fearnley Museum of contemporary art & The Holmenkollen Ski jump

  Day 2 - Train Oslo-Trondheim Enjoy a scenic train ride across the snow covered Dovrefjell Mountain Plateau & National Park to the historic city of Trondheim. Check in at the centrally located 4* Scandic Nidelven or similar Spend 1 night in Trondheim

  Day 3 - Cruise start Board the authentic Hurtigruten ship before noon and enjoy the Northern Lights Christmas cruise to the Arctic town of Kirkenes - "The top of the World", close to the Russian border   Spend 4 nights onboard

  Day 4 - Cruise arrival to Bodo Crossing the Arctic Circle. Arrival to Bodo at noon, with time to visit the city.     Departure from Bodo in the afternoon, then crossing the Vest Fjord heading towards the Lofoten Islands, with calls at Svolvaer and Stamsund in the evening.

  Day 5 - Reindeer sledding in Tromso Passing beautiful Arctic scenery before the arrival to Tromso at 14:15. You will be picked up at the pier for a reindeer sledding excursion. Join a sleigh ride, take part in feeding the reindeer and visit the Sami in a traditional gamme hut.

  Day 6 - North Cape excursion Enjoy the exotic North Cape land excursion from Honningsvag, then cruise along Finnmark's barren coast, passing the Svaerholdtklubben Bird Colony and the unbelievable rock formation of Finnkjerkja

  Day 7 - Christmas celebration at snowhotel Cruise along the Finnmark coast before the ship continues to the Bokfjord and on to Kirkenes. Breakfast on board before you disembark in the late morning. You will be picked up at the harbour and transferred to Kirkenes Snowhotel. Check in at an elegantly designed wooden Gamme cabin. Enjoy a Christmas celebration at Kirkenes Snowhotel in the evening with Christmas dinner in the restaurant. .   Optional: During the tour booking process you can add snowmobile safari, king crab fishing & overnight stay at Kirkenes Snow Hotel

  Husky Safari Join an adventurous 2-hour dog sledding trip in the early afternoon. The tour goes in scenic surroundings over the fjord and on the mountain plateau. Included: Warm clothes What to bring: Comfortable shoes, warm and windproof clothing (special clothing will be provided). Age restrictions: Min. 7 years old and accompanied by an adult. Difficulty level: Average physical condition – involves physical activity on uneven surface and/or steep terrain. Not suitable if you have limited mobility. Spend 1 night at a Gamme cabin

  Day 8 - King Crab Safari Join an exciting king crab safari with a delicious king crab lunch! The town of Kirkenes is located by an Arctic fjord, with excellent king crab fishing facilities – there will always be a catch! A totally unforgettable experience awaits you on the frozen fjords of Kirkenes. This is your chance to learn how to catch, cook, and most importantly EAT this mysterious creature. After the excursion transfer to Kirkenes. Check in at a centrally located hotel. Spend 1 night in Kirkenes.

  Day 9 - Flight to Oslo Finish your stay at "the top of Europe" and join the flight southwards to Oslo. Spend the night at the Bristol hotel (or similar) in the centre of Oslo.   Spend 1 night in Oslo
