  Overnight in Bergen Dec 22. Individual arrival to Bergen. Check in at a centrally located 4* hotel. Spend 1 night in Bergen   Departures and ships: Dec 22: MS Havila Capella

  Evening cruise departure Spend the day at leisure in Bergen before the evening departure with one of the authentic Hurtigruten ships. Cruise departure at 21:30. Spend 4 nights onboard.   All meals are included during the cruise; Buffet breakfast, buffet lunch & 3 course dinner (food only)

  Alesund - the Art Nouveau town Arrival to the picturesque Alesund at noon. Spend 3 hours at leisure before the ship sails towards the coastal towns of Molde and Kristiansund.

  Trondheim - the historic town Cruising into the wide Trondheimfjord to the picturesque, historic city of Trondheim. Spend the time at leisure in the city, or take an optional sightseeing tour. You can visit the Nidaros cathedral; Norway's only cathedral and the picturesque old bridge Gamle Bybro taking you to the authentic Bakklandet with the tiny, wooden houses.

  Bodo & Lofoten Islands Crossing the Arctic Circle to Bodo, with a few hours to explore the city. Then on to the Lofoten Islands with calls at the fishing villages of Stamsund & Svolvaer in the evening.

  Vesteralen Islands & Tromso Arrival in Tromso at 14:15, check in at a centrally located hotel. Spend 2 nights in Tromso   Enjoy an exotic Aurora safari in the evening: you will be picked up in the centre of Tromso for a Northern Lights chase by bus. Seven base stations are set up at different locations, and the best one for the evening is chosen, depending on the weather reports. Each base has its own local English speaking guide, a warm shelter and camp fire. Northern lights film shown on the bus. Warm clothes, light evening meal & transfers included.

  Tromso  Spend a full day at leisure in Tromso, or choose from our selection of optional day time or evening excursions, like Dog sledding, Reindeer sledge & Northern lights dinner cruise   Prices & booking of the optional excursions will appear during the tour booking process

  Tromso - Oslo  Flight to Oslo. Overnight at the centrally located 4* Bristol hotel (or similar). Spend 1 night in Oslo. The tour finishes after breakfast on day 9   Optional: Add nights & sightseeing in Oslo

  Sights in Oslo We suggest a visit to the spectacular Oslo Opera House, designed by  the Norwegian firm Snohetta, opened in April 2008. The Opera House won the culture award at the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona in October 2008 and the 2009 European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture (Mies van der Rohe award). You can also visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park, with the famous "Sinnataggen" (angry boy), located in the scenic Frogner park, easily accessible by tram from the centre of Oslo. Visit the Edvard Munch Museum, with the famous "Skrik" (scream) and several of his most famous paintings. You will also find Edvard Munch's paintings in the National Gallery. The amazing Astrup Fearnley Museum of contemporary Art, designed by the famous Italian architect Renzo Piano -  has added a new Architectural masterpiece to Oslo, centrally located at the waterfront Tjuvholmen. The museum opened in September 2012
